“Researchscholarship”
Thisis a four-monthprogrammedesigned for foreignscholarswhowish to conducttheirresearch in Poland. It serves as anintellectualbridge, bringingtogetherresearchers from Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and the European Union to work in aninternationalacademic environment thatencourages the exchange of ideas and perspectives.
The scholarshipisaimedatyoungscholarsaffiliated with academic, expert, oranalyticalinstitutions. Thisincludesindividuals with a documentedresearchrecord and doctoralstudentswhohave not yetobtainedtheirPhD but arepursuingresearchaligned with the Centre’smission. Participantsreceive a monthlystipend of PLN 8,000, providing the financialstabilitynecessary to focusentirely on theirscientificpursuits.
The programmeincludesaninauguralmeeting in Warsaw for integration and experttalks and a closingmeetingwherefellowspresenttheirresearchresults and plan futurecollaborations.
“Research in Ukraine”
Thisis a uniqueinitiativespecificallydesigned to supportUkrainianscholarswhocontinuetheirscientificworkwithinUkrainedespite the ongoingchallenges of the war. Recognizingthatmaintainingacademiccontinuityisanact of determination, thisprogrammeaims to prevent the interruption of criticalresearchprojects and strengthen the position of Ukrainianacademicinstitutionswithin the internationalcommunity.
The scholarshipsupportsprojects in the humanities and socialsciences, specificallyfocusing on the history, culture, and politics of Central and Eastern Europe. Thisinitiativeprovides a total grant of PLN 12,000. The amountisdistributed in fourmonthlyinstallments to eachparticipant. The programmeserves as a significantgesture of solidarity. It allowsUkrainianscholars to providefreshperspectives on regionalchallenges and ensurethat the voice of Ukrainianacademiaremainsinfluential in the globaldiscourse.
